The Lisbon Council for Economic Competitiveness
The Lisbon Council for Economic Competitiveness and Social Renewal asbl is a Brussels-based think tank and policy network. Established in 2003 in Belgium as a non-profit, non-partisan association, the group is dedicated to making a positive contribution through cutting-edge research and by engaging political leaders and the public at large in a constructive exchange about the economic and social challenges of the 21st century.
Partner’s role in the project
In RURBANIVE, LC is leader of two tasks. Task T2.2 in WP2 is focused on stakeholders’ recruitment and engagement, as well as Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) involvement in Rural/Urban co-creation labs (RUCLs). In WP2, LC is also contributing to tasks T2.1, T2.3, T2.4. LC is also leading task T6.2 in WP6 dedicated to developing policy tools that will leverage potential synergies of the key actors to promote innovative urban-rural practices in order to support dialogue, collaboration and interaction among RURBANIVE Community members. In WP6, LC is also a contributor of task T6.3. Finally, LC will provide contribution to task T4.3 in WP4.
